The Story Behind Hope Gives....

This was a Facebook post orginially posted the Sunday following after miscarrying my first and only baby in July 2013.

Walking my dog this morn around the farm, I happen to see a baby butterfly all by itself...Call it a a small miracle on this God's day (Sunday). Throughout all my sadness this past week, losing my baby, just maybe it's a sign from God...that my "little baby pea" made it safe to the other side with my mom and the other angels among us. Of all the years, I've walked this farm and hiked many trails in the woods, I have seen many butterflies but, never once a baby butterfly until today. It was the colors of blue and black. Call it a blessing, a sign of peace and comfort...I'd say to many it's definately worth believing in.

• The orginial page I created on Facebook was in July 2013 to help others like me who suffered miscarriage or child loss, depression, coping, healing, and all the other emotions entailed with grieving a loss. The orginial title was The Butterfly Mancuso Project based on seeing that baby butterfly angel I saw that Sunday after the miscarriage. My baby never got to be born and given a name, so therefore, I used Mancuso in the title, which was the baby's father last name. I had dealt with being ridculed and harassed non stop for two years by my ex and his female fan club because of this page I created to help others like me. The initial page was reported so many times by them, it was taken down by Facebook. I was not going to go through the bullying again online by creating another page in memory of our baby, however after a suicide attempt, being in therapy, and getting put on a much needed medication to help cope with the severe depression associated with my grief of loss, it only gave me more motivation to help others! My ex and his female fan club would try unsuccessfully to get this new Facebook page down. I was determined to tell my story with the good and bad, in order to heal and help others like me. Telling the story, all of it, keeps it real! And there is so much more to this story, one day when I feel comfortably safe completely, I will share it all with the world. •
